Everyday is another day to serve God. That is if you are willing to allow God to use you effectively. It's all a learning process and we all make mistakes. It can be very exciting to see God work in other peoples lives.

Why Would Jesus Love Me?

I have done things that God would not forgive me for, and that is what most people believe. You see God will forgive us because he loves us. This is a hard thing to accept because most people don't realize that God is Love.

We see so much death and destruction that we think this is what God wants. A lot of us see God as this big bad wolf type person that is just waiting to hurt us when we mess up. We have had all these bad things happen to us we can't see beyond them.

Our father and mother never showed us what real love was like, so we don't know what love is. It's hard to believe that God could love us when our own family doesn't even love us. It's like we can't get over these things. They just stay in our minds, and we are always reminded of the bad things that have happen.

If no one on this earth loves us then why would Jesus love us? After all I don't even know this Jesus why would he care about me? Maybe you have had these thoughts come into your mind.

Does Jesus Love Me?

Yes Jesus loves you. I know that you may find this hard to believe, but all it takes is believing it. Read your bible or go online to read it just click here. When you do there are two versions of the bible John 3.

In John chapter 3 it talks about being born again which when you are you will become a new creation. It's a new start in this life. If you need healing in your heart just ask Jesus to heal it. Keep talking to him because that is what he wants you to do.

Talking to God is like talking to your friend. If you haven't ask him to forgive you then start with that. Remember that he forgives you, and you must forgive those that have hurt you.

That means everyone even your worse enemy. This can be hard to do but you will find real freedom when you do. Ask him to help you with forgiving people.

 I would like it if you would read these verses Colossians 1:15-28. It's important to know who the Son of God is, and why he died for us. In verse 15 it says that Jesus is the image of the living God.

Now read John 14:9 Know Jesus is telling Phillip that if you have seen him you have seen the Father. Jesus is the representation of the Father.

In Isaiah 9:6 it talks about the birth of Christ long before he was born. In this scripture it uses the name that he will be called by. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit names that are mentioned in this verse are the names that we would use to call Jesus by.

Now there are verses that describe God as being everywhere, so I would image that God's spirit lives in Christ. He is the image of God like the above verse says. Isaiah 45 talks about how there is only one God and there is no other beside him.

If you go to John one you will read that the word became flesh, and that the word was God. You see God is the creator of this world and he is our redeemer who loves us all. In him there is no darkness there is only light.

Darkness has to do with sin, and light has to do with all things that are good. God doesn't think about bad things, and we are to change the way we think. To begin with think about yourself as being Loved by God.

Prayer

Father come into my life I accept your son Jesus Christ. I believe he died for my sins. Forgive me for sinning against you and my fellow man. I forgive those that have hurt me, and done wrong to me. Send your Holy Spirit to live in me like you did with the disciples. In Jesus name, Amen.

Why Do We Need a Redeemer

It's hard to understand why I need a redeemer? After all I never did anything that deserved being thrown in jail for. I pay my taxes, and bills that I owe. What makes God think that I need to be saved.

Does he know me like that or what? I might not really know if there is a God, but a lot of people think there is a God. He never showed up in my house in person. If he is for real maybe he should just come down here and show himself.

These maybe some thoughts that you have about God and his Son. They are very reasonable thoughts to think about. After all God says we should prove all things, and we should continue to learn about our world.

Are We Unclean?

First of all have you ever touched something that was just plain right out discusting. Maybe it was a bug, snail, or may be it was someone that hadn't bathed for a month. Maybe this kind of thing doesn't bother you, but I bet it would if it touched your mouth or private parts.

Whatever it was you may have had the urge to wash afterward. Maybe even broke out the scrub brush and anti-bacteria soap to really get the stink off of you. You might even be thinking of this for days to come, and don't want to repeat the experience again.

God doesn't look at us that way, but the things we do and think in our heart makes him sad. He is not one to think like we do. He doesn't think bad thoughts nor does he think of hurting people just to do it.

In the bible there is the things that God did to people but he gave them the chance to change. Even before the flood he gave people 100 years to change while Noah built the arc. They just laughed at Noah, and continued to do what they were doing.

Our attitude can make us stink you have been around people like that. They complain like they are a saint, always doing bad things, or they just have nothing good to say about anything.

Maybe we have even done these things. You know when we are having a bad day it's like everyone hates us. No one is saying anything good it's one problem after another. We all can be a bit stinky with our attitudes.

You see this is sin to God because he doesn't act like this. He wants us to have a good attitude about everything which is hard for us at times. You see this is a sin and all sin separates us from God.

It's like we need to take a major bath to come to God. Well there is nothing on this earth that can clean us up like that. No soap will take away that kind of sin. If we sin we break all the laws because no sin is better then the other.

Now we think that little sins are not as bad as big ones, but they are all sin because any sin will seperate us from God. Even after becoming a Christian if we sin God will not be as close to us as he was before until we deal with it.

You see the Holy Spirit which is God's Spirit that lives in us will convict us of that sin, and he will forgive us if we repent. Yes you can still sin after becoming a Christian, and all of us do to some degree.


What is all this redeeming all about?

If you understand what has been said so far we need a redeemer, a savior, someone that cares about us. When we except Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior he will send the Holy Spirit to live in us. The Holy Spirit is the one that helps us to live this life.

He is a comforter, a counselor, someone that helps us to make the right choices in our lives. He will help guide us in the path of righteousness, but he also guides us to make good decisions about everything we do.

You see being redeemed has many benefits because we have someone that is with us wherever we go. We also have angels that are around us to help protect us. That doesn't mean we will avoid every bad thing that comes our way.

The bible tells us it rains on the just and the unjust. This means that good and bad comes to both. Prayer can make a world of difference when it comes to God's protection. You see God protects those that seek him, and it's his choice what happens to us.

There are reasons, sometimes we don't understand, for everything that he allows to happen. Sometimes these reason come to light after the fact, and sometimes they never do.

When you accept Christ as your Savior the Holy Spirit starts a good work in your heart. He starts to clean you up, but you must remain in Christ for this work to be made complete.

Prayer For Today

Father, Thank you for all you have done for me, and for those that are around me that I come in contact with. Come into my life and change me. Don't forget that I love you, and that I belong to you. May you start a good work in my life, and remain faithful to complete it. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Encouraging Words 

God is not like a man that will lie to get his way. He has no need for such tactics. He will always continue to remain faithful to his children. Don't let anyone tell you any different. Listen to the Holy Spirit, and continue to do good works.
